ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSWomen Who Mean Business Awards will honor businesswomen at Houston-area companies based in the Houston area.
Finalists will be decided by a panel of industry experts and honored at an event in Oct. 18, 2018, and in a special edition of the Houston Business Journal.

Application deadline is now Aug. 10, 2018. Please complete the application below for consideration. If you are completing on behalf of someone else, you must attach documentation with their signature verifying the veracity of the information and their participation (see final question/requirement).
Criteria for selection includes career achievement, contribution to company, community involvement and leadership. Aside from the Women to Watch category, nominees should be in a senior leadership position. The nominee must be based within the Houston metropolitan area, which includes the following counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto and Waller.
WWMB will have multiple honorees announced in each of the following industry focused categories. A nominee cannot be nominated in multiple categories. Note: The nominee should be entered based on their company's industry. For instance, a nominee who is a CFO for a hospital system should be nominated in the health care category, not the finance category.
Outstanding business leaders in energy
Outstanding business leaders in finance (includes accounting, banking, wealth management, etc.)
Outstanding business leaders in health care
Outstanding business leaders in real estate (includes commercial and residential)
Outstanding business leaders in professional services (includes PR agents, marketing agencies, staffing, consulting, etc.)
Outstanding business leaders in law (note: lawyers working in-house for a company should select the category corresponding with her company's industry)
Outstanding business leaders in hospitality, restaurant and retailing
Outstanding nonprofit business leaders (government, social services, etc.)
Women to watch (10 years or less in their industry)
